Chefs - Part Time Roles
Benk + Bo is an independent co-working space in Spitalfields, East London. We are open Monday-Friday, with a hot brunch menu which runs from 8am-4pm, as well as serving a selection of daily changing salads, deli items and baked goods all freshly made with love in our lovely onsite kitchen.
Our onsite kitchen is fully vegetarian, with lots of exciting veggie/vegan/gluten free options and an emphasis on thoughtfully sourced ingredients, which change with the seasons. As well as daily service, we regularly cater for events both here at Benk + Bo and off site (for photoshoots etc). We’re really looking to expand this area of the business, this is a really exciting time for us as we are launching a new brunch menu at the end of July and expanding our already popular catering offering.
We’re looking for passionate, creative and reliable chefs who really want to grow with our business. Experience in catering and a love for baking would be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for chefs looking to be a part of a small but very friendly and creative team. This would be an exciting role for someone with an interest in healthy/vegetarian/vegan food - free yoga & other classes are available to anyone who works here! You must have minimum 1 year proven kitchen experience, an up to date level 2 certificate in Food Hygiene/Safety and 2 references from previous employers.
You’ll be a great fit if you’re super organised and flexible with your schedule – we need 2 part time chefs to join our kitchen team (working 3 days each a week) but would consider 1 full time chef (working 5 days) if the fit is right. You’ll be working alongside our new Head Chef to run daily service, expand our daytime catering offering, as well as help out on evening/weekend events whenever they come up.
