Come spend an evening exploring the connection between mindfulness and sustainable living!

The practice of mindfulness goes far beyond practicing being in the present moment. Mindfulness is rooted in awareness: awareness of the self, awareness of the world, and awareness of how we exist in the world and impact it. But it goes one step further, for by being aware of our impact in the world we can also begin to take responsibility for it and behave with caution when we suspect our impact to be negative. In this way, the practice of mindfulness equips us with the mindset that helps in the creation of more sustainable lifestyles - and future.

The night will go as follows:

  • You will attend a panel discussion and Q&A on the importance of a mindful attitude in sustainable living with Ana Carneiro, Hanna Pumfrey and Nat Mady - founders of Be For ChangeAcala and Hackney Herbal

  • You will then learn about Restorative herbs in a 40min workshop led by Nat

  • Time to snack on sustainable munchies and refreshements, and the opportunity to further connect with the speakers and other attendants!

Please note that this event will not result in any profit for either organisers, price of tickets covers venue hire and refreshments and other associated costs.

Doors will open at 6.45pm and the event will begin promptly at 7pm.
