The stunning features of this brutalist building combined with the minimal scandinavian decor provides a very stylish but flexible canvas to accommodate your event.


FLOOR PLAN

We have spaces available to rent split across 3 levels. the ground floor has an on-site cafe and lounge area, downstairs is a large events space kitchen and the 1st floor boasts a large studio and smaller rooms for treatments and workshops.


HOW TO FIND US

Our location is 4-6 gravel lane e1 7aw with a short walking distance to liverpool st station (5 minutes) and aldgate station (3 minutes).

PARKING

Parking in the surrounding streets is free of charge from 7:30pm on weekdays and on weekends though we cannot guarantee you will always find a space. if you wish to plan in advance you can park at whitechapel st car park (6 min walk).

on sundays there is a market that takes place on middlesex street which can make the venue more difficult to access and car park spots are limited.


BASEMENT EVENT SPACE

The 42 sqft basement event space is surrounded by gorgeous greenery and is perfect for intimate dining events. Combined with our ground floor lounge area (perfect for a drinks reception) and our enormous kitchen, you have everything you need to host a beautiful supperclub for your guests.

Supper- clubs & pop-up dining events, workshops, exhibition and press launches, private functions.

GROUND FLOOR EVENT SPACE

Our 42 sqft ground floor space is the perfect multi-purpose lounge. this area is often used as a reception area for basement events, or can be rented alone for smaller ones too. this area is next to the cafe counter so transforms very beautifully into an intimate bar in the evenings.

Drinks reception, workshops, exhibition and press launches.

Available to hire from 6pm on weekdays + all day on weekends.
Stands 50 people.

This area is a relaxed lounge area and has various tables, chairs, sofas, coffee tables and plants. furniture removal is possible, though additional fees apply for these services.

Our ground floor cafe area can be hired for serving food + drinks at your event.
Alternatively we can open the benk+bo cafe where we serve delicious coffee from dark arts roasters in hackney and a wonderful selection of teas, drinking chocolate, matcha and soft drinks. the option of having pastries, cakes or healthy snack pots is available. for more info on benk+bo cafe services please email events@benkandbo.com.

Our 36.4 sq ft kitchen is spacious enough to fit a large team of chefs or up to 10 people for a cooking class. We also rent this space out individually for food prep purposes.
Rental of this space includes a wide variety of equipment and our beautiful crocker and glassware can be added onto the booking.

Our 70sqm space with natural light, plants, cork flooring and a mirrored wall with a linen curtain is perfect for fitness classes but is also a great space for other events such as life drawing and panel discussions.

Available to hire between 8:30-12:00, 14:00-17:30, 19:30-late on weekdays + all day on weekends.

Our 17.5 sqft meeting room is set up for a meeting of 6 but can be transformed into the perfect setting for a small workshop.

The smaller piano room at 6.9 sqft is perfect for treatments for day retreat events.

CATERING

Benk + Bo create bespoke vegetarian menus based on the budget per head and theme. We can create a canapé menu or a sit-down dinner of big sharing plates. To fill in our catering request form form click here.

Interested in having the benk+bo bar open for your event?

We can transform the ground floor counter into a cosy bar serving a range of delicious wines as well as local craft beers. we are happy to stock and serve additional alcohol if pre-paid by the client.

BYOB is welcomed though a corkage fee applies.
