In a world in which feelings can sometimes be challenging, frightening, overwhelming, complex and seriously hard to navigate, it’s not surprising that sometimes we don't feel ok. Everyday mental maintenance is an essential part of surviving.
We invite participants to explore the impact of mental health on relationships, work and other areas of their lives in launching 'Self Space Groups' as part of our new Community strand.
Facilitated by qualified therapists, Self Space Groups support the maintenance of good mental health by offering participants an opportunity to pause, reflect, connect and share. Our warm, innovative and relaxed approach opens up a space that is safe and non-judgemental for participants to both join together, and work individually. Self Space Groups provide a space to meet in shared experience, and invite a deeper self-reflection that can support the development of necessary inner resources for positive mental wellbeing.
Self Space provide flexible, forward thinking therapy which focuses on supporting people to maintain good mental health and ultimately reach their potential.
Our vision is to revolutionise the culture around accessing mental health support, making it more commonplace and aspirational. We want striving for mental wellness to feel like something people are proud of. We want to see people not only turning to therapy in a time of crisis, but instead, focusing on maintaining healthy mental wellbeing throughout their lives, in the same way most of us do with our physical health.
As well as offering groups and workshops, we offer one-one, couples and student therapy in our spaces in Shoreditch and Borough.
